x402 Services
x402 is a new standard that lets you pay for online services with crypto, instantly, right from your browser or AI agent. No sign-ups, no credit cards, no bank accounts. The name comes from HTTP status code 402 ("Payment Required") — the web finally has a native way to pay for things.

What is x402?
x402 extends HTTP with a native payment layer. Instead of API keys and billing accounts, agents and users pay per request using crypto micropayments.
How it works
Request a resource. If payment is needed, the server returns HTTP 402 with an X-Payment-Required header containing wallet, price, and network. Pay, retry, done.
For AI agents
Autonomous agents can pay for services without human accounts. A wallet with USDC on Base L2 is all they need. No signup, no OAuth, no billing.
Supported networks
Base L2 (USDC) is the most common. Some services accept ETH on mainnet/L2, Lightning (BTC), or native tokens (GRT, LINK, AR, etc.).
